Suspect Charged In Deadly Hit & Run
DENVER (CBS4) – The suspect in a deadly hit and run at 51st Avenue and Peoria Street is being charged Wednesday night after being released from the hospital.
The victim was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a driver who ran away.
Two children were also in that vehicle and are expected to recover.
Police arrested Johnny Gilbert for investigation of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and felony hit and run.
Police caught up to him shortly after the crash.
