Student Accused In Hammer Attack Appears In Court
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A 14-year-old girl appeared in court Tuesday, accused of attacking two fellow high school students with a hammer.
The incident happened Monday during school at Columbine High School. The 14-year-old went after a 15-year-old girl with the hammer. Another student, Aaron Flowers, stepped in to try to stop the fight.
"She was just swinging back and forth. It wasn't just a regular swing; it was just back and forth, and she was going for the face," Flowers said.
Investigators say they don't know what prompted the attack, although CBS4 was told the girls have a history of fighting.
