State Patrol Headquarters Evacuated After Strange Odor
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators are trying to figure out the source of an odor that forced the evacuation of the Colorado State Patrol headquarters in Lakewood.
Workers noticed the strange smell around 8 a.m. on Saturday. They started complaining about headaches and nausea.
Everyone left the building and paramedics checked out nine people. All will be okay.
Calls to dispatch were rerouted to other centers around the state until the building reopened around 2 p.m.
