Standoff Comes To An End Without Arrest In Jeffco
MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) - A standoff in Jefferson County came to an end without an arrest.
Police gathered outside a home Saturday at Parmelee Gulch and Ute for a suspect believed to be hiding inside.
It started at about 7:40 p.m. when Morrison police tried to stop a man for speeding on Highway 285.
Police say the man took off, smashing into a police cruiser in the process as officers dove out of the way.
After following the suspect to the house and calling in Jefferson County deputies for support authorities surrounded the home.
At about 1 a.m. Sunday the scene was cleared.
Police told CBS4 no arrest was made.
