Springs Babysitter Faces Murder Charges
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A babysitter in Colorado Springs is facing murder charges after the infant left in his care died.
George Peters was charged with first-degree murder after the 2-month-old boy was removed from life support and died.
On Thursday officers were called to the home in Colorado Springs because the infant was not breathing.
The 23-year-old babysitter is being held in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
The coroner's office is completing an autopsy to try to determine how the baby died.
