Son Of Apparent Denver Murder Victim Taken Into Custody
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver have taken the son of an apparent murder suspect into custody.
Lavar Sillemon is being held for investigation of first degree murder following the discovery of his mother's body at a home near 35th and High streets. Police say Sillemon, 30, is a "possible suspect in her death."
Police found the woman during a welfare check at at 1900 E. 35th Avenue and are currently trying to determine how she died. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
The woman's name has not been released.
