Some Caucus Voters In Aurora Say Electability Top Issue
AURORA, Colo. (AP) - About 100 voters are attending the Republican caucuses at Aurora's Foxbridge Middle School. Some say they're backing Mitt Romney because they believe he has the best chance of defeating President Barack Obama.
Cathy Seip said Tuesday she voted for Obama as an independent in 2008 - but she's disappointed because she believes he spends too much. She said she registered as a Republican so she could vote for Romney this year.
She called Romney a "good moral man" who appears to have a better temperament than the other candidates - a plus in her book for dealing with countries.
Ike Goldstein is a project manager in technology. He called Romney the most electable of the Republican candidates but said he would've liked to have seen a more conservative field.
