Solar TAC Celebrates Grand Opening In Colorado
DENVER (CBS4) - Solar energy is getting a boost in Colorado as Solar TAC, the technology acceleration center, celebrated its grand opening near Denver International Airport on Tuesday.
The facility will test and advance solar technologies.
Gov. John Hickenlooper was on hand to show his support and point out the remarkable advances already seen in solar energy.
The company says Colorado is a prime spot for the testing facility since the state enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
