Smoke From Aurora Fire Seen From Across The Metro Area
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A huge plume of smoke billowed over Aurora Saturday afternoon. The fire burned two cars and a boat at a storage facility.
Firefighters were called out to 2nd and Norfolk around 3 p.m. It took them about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
Nobody was at the storage facility when the firefighters arrived.
"Typically there's nobody here on weekends so a fire can get going pretty good before anybody notices it," Allen Robnett with the Aurora Fire Department said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
