Small Plane Lands On Belly After Landing Gear Malfunctions
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- A small plane landed on its belly at the Rocky Mountain Airport in Broomfield at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday, after the landing gear did not come down.
Firefighters from North Metro Fire Department were called to the airport. No one was injured in the landing.
Only the pilot was aboard the single engine Bonanza airplane when it landed. There was some damage to the underside of the plane.
The plane will be moved into a hangar where the investigation into the non-traditional landing will continue.
