Shooting Leaves Girl Injured By Flying Glass
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - A 6-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when several gunshots shattered the window of her room while she was sleeping.
Colorado Springs police said the shooting occurred early Sunday at the Cedar Creek Club Apartments.
"The bullet hit the window and all the glass shattered everywhere and on the bed and when she woke up it had already hit her and she already had a lot of blood on her leg," the girl's mother said.
Authorities did not identify the girl and are still looking for the suspect.
