Shed Fire Quickly Extinguished
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters in Thornton battled a shed that caught fire early Tuesday morning. Fire crews were able to keep the blaze from spreading to the home.
Crews from both North Metro Fire Rescue and the Thornton Fire Department battled the fire at 121st Drive and Krameria Street.
"There was a little bit of damage done to the corner of the garage just by the proximity of the shed to it. There were a couple of residents at home at the time but they were able to safely evacuate so there were no injuries as a result of the fire," said North Metro Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sara Farris.
