Several Hospitalized After Parade Float Tips Over In Golden
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - Ten people suffered injuries after a parade float tipped over in Golden on Saturday. Authorities tell CBS4 the float held about 30 people as part of a the Colorado School of Mines homecoming parade.
It happened near 13th and Maple Streets. All of the victims went to nearby hospitals.
The hitch of the truck towing the float hit something causing it to tip over, officials say.
The parade did not continue.
