2 Semis Collide, With SUV Crunched Between The Cabs, On I-25 Near Loveland
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Two semi trucks collided on northbound Interstate 25 near Loveland during the early part of Friday morning's commute and an SUV got damaged when it got stuck between the cabs.
No one was hurt in the crash but there were major traffic impacts from it that lasted until the early afternoon.
It happened in a construction zone to the north of the Johnson's Corner exit.
Some barriers were damaged and had to be repaired. That meant all lanes in both directions were closed for several hours for repairs.
The SUV driver was issued a citation after the crash. Authorities haven't said what sort of action that person may have taken that possibly caused the wreck.
