Semi Truck Fire Closes Part Of Interstate 70
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A major headache for drivers on Interstate 70 Saturday night when a semi truck caught fire.
Colorado Department of Transportation cameras caught the backups caused by the fire near Herman Gulch Road, outside of the Eisenhower Tunnel.
Colorado State Patrol says the truck was carrying 38,000 lbs. of vegetable oil.
At one point, both lanes going westbound were closed. Those lanes have since reopened, according to CDOT's Twitter page.
