Sedgwick County Sheriff Arrested

JULESBURG, Colo. (CBS4)- The sheriff of Sedgwick County, Thomas Hanna, has been arrested.

Hanna was arrested for suspicion of felony sexual assault.

Hanna was scheduled to appear in court in Julesburg on Tuesday afternoon but that court proceeding was postponed.

Hanna was elected to sheriff while serving as deputy sheriff in the fall of 2014. He took office in January 2015.
