School District Won't Budge On Transgender Bathroom Case
FOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4) - The Fountain-Fort Carson School District near Colorado Springs isn't budging on refusing to let a transgendered student use the girl's restroom.
Parents of Coy Mathis, 6, pulled her out of school. Mathis is biologically a boy, but lives as a girl.
The family's attorney told CBS4 it's clear the school district is not interested in mediating a resolution to the bathroom issue.
