9 Children Hospitalized In School Bus Crash In Southeast Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - Nine children were hospitalized in an accident Friday afternoon in southeast Denver that involved two cars and a school bus.
There were 33 people on board the bus when the crash happened at about 4 p.m. It happened at Iliff and Emporia, near Parker Road.
The parents of the children who were injured were notified that they were hospitalized. None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to emergency officials.
When Copter4 flew over the scene shortly after the crash dozens of students were standing on the grass next to the intersection.
At least one of the cars that was involved in the crash was heavily damaged.
