School Bus Driver May Be A Key Witness To Murder

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A key witness to a murder last month in Arapahoe County may have been driving a school bus.

That's according to investigators, who on Thursday released images of the school bus they say could be connected to the crime.

The murder happened on the night of Oct. 27 just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of East Florida Avenue and South Parker Road.

Authorities found Robert Goldsberry, 60, face down in a Walmart parking lot and suffering from several gunshot wounds. He died soon afterwards.

After a brief search around the shopping center, Daniel Fougner, 54, was arrested in connection to the shooting.

Investigators say Fougner is a transient but they say they can't yet reveal if he knew his victim.

Investigators are still trying to determine a motive, and are hoping the driver and possible passengers of the bus may have helpful information for them.

Fougner is currently being held in the Arapahoe County Jail on first degree murder charges. His criminal record has a history of assault, trespassing and firing a weapon.
