Old Russel Stover Plant In Montrose Gets New Life
MONTROSE, Colo. (CBS4) - A former Russell Stover plant in Montrose will be converted into a food an innovation center. The facility closed last fall.
The site will house multiple companies and will provide processing, storage and distribution for locally-produced food.
More than 200 people lost their jobs. The company announced early in 2020 it would be consolidating facilities.
Operations were absorbed into the Russell Stover plant in Texas.
