Ruby Hill Park To Get Major Improvements
DENVER (CBS4) - A park in Denver kicked off ground breaking on a new community garden on Saturday.
Ruby Hill Park is undergoing lots of construction as part of the "Better Denver Bond Issue." The work is part of a plan to make Ruby Hill a bigger attraction.
The park is getting a new pavilion, community garden, playgrounds called "Climb to the Clouds" and a tree house village.
Right now the usable space maybe limited. Construction crews are installing a new irrigation system and beginning on the first phase of the renovation.
Phase 2 includes ball parks and improvements to the already popular sledding and snowboarding hills.
Construction on Phase 1 should be done by next summer.
