Resident Treated After Trying To Put Out Fire Himself
DENVER (CBS4)- Firefighters in Denver said a resident of a home that caught fire was rushed to the hospital after he tried to put out the blaze himself.
The fire at 855 S. Yates in Denver started before 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the attic above the garage.
The man who lived there attempted to put out the fire and was overcome by the smoke. He was rushed to the hospital for smoke inhalation. His condition is not known.
Firefighters are investigating what started the fire.
