Rep. Coffman Returns From Afghanistan With Concerns
DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Rep. Mike Coffman has been meeting with civilians in Afghanistan, and he says they're worried.
Coffman just returned from a trip to Afghanistan. He spent some time with members of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division in Kandahar.
Coffman also attended a community meeting with local government and tribal leaders to discuss security challenges with the Taliban. Coffman said Afghans are afraid the U.S. will abandon them and let the Taliban take over.
