Rampart Reservoir In Waldo Canyon Reopens To The Public
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Nearly a year after the Waldo Canyon Fire a popular recreation area is reopening.
Rampart Reservoir, northwest of Colorado Springs, opened just in time for the holiday weekend. Some sections were left untouched by the massive fire last summer, but many of the trees that were burned can be seen.
Some popular areas, including the Waldo Canyon Trail, remain off-limits because of unstable hillsides.
