Rafter Drowns On Colorado River

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Rescuers have found the body of a man believed to have drowned while rafting on the Colorado River.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office had trouble recovering the body, which was snared to a tree.

According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports, the Grand Junction Fire Department was called to handle a separate rescue call involving two women floating the river who had become stranded close to where the body was found.
