Preschool No Longer On Lockdown After Bank Robbery
DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver continue to search for two bank robbery suspects. Officers had locked down a nearby preschool while they conducted their search Friday afternoon.
Knight Early Childhood Education has about 30 students enrolled and is located at 3245 E. Exposition Ave.
The bank robbery occurred at the Chase Bank at Colorado and Exposition at about 2:45 p.m.
The bank robbery suspects are described as two black men who ran from the bank after robbing it.
The lockdown at Knight ECE lockdown was lifted at 4:58 p.m. Friday.
Two other schools were on brief lockdowns earlier Friday afternoon, Cory Elementary and Merrill Middle School, but were released after it was determined they were a safe distance from the robbery.
