Police Suspect Drugs Involved In Fire That Killed Mother And Child
PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – Police suspect drugs were involved in a fire that killed a mother and child on Christmas morning.
The fire swept through a pueblo apartment building killing 25-year-old Natasha Fiore and three—year-old Elijah Pino.
Investigators have ruled out arson but said that drugs were involved.
Fiore's sister doesn't believe that to be true.
"Does she look like a person who would do drugs on Christmas? No," said Fiore's sister, "She was always giving. She had a good outlook on life. If you need her she was there."
Fiore's five-year-old son and her mother were also injured but they are out of the hospital and will be okay.
Everyone else in the building got out safely.
