Police Search For Suspect Who Took Part Of Sculpture

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver searched for a suspect who took a piece of a sculpture that is on display outside the state Capitol.

The bow from the "Closing Era" sculpture was stolen sometime late last month. The bronze sculpture is displayed on the east side of the state Capitol and dates back to 1893.

During the removal of the bow, the suspect also caused damage to the sculpture.

Although the bow was returned undamaged, it was tossed over a fence at the Denver Police Department District 2 substation, police need the public's help finding the suspect.

If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
