DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver continue to search for a man who robbed a bank inside a King Soopers. The suspect was believed to be hiding inside a Home Depot store. Officers searched the store but did not find him.
The bank robbery happened at about 1:30 p.m. at a Bank of the West branch at 3102 S. Sheridan inside the King Soopers store.
The suspect is described as a white man, 40 to 50 years old, 6'2" tall, 190 pounds, with a slim build.
Witnesses believe the man ran into a nearby Home Depot store at 3130 S. Sheridan Blvd. That store was locked down for about an hour while officers searched inside.
