Police On Lookout For Robber Who Wears Red
DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver are on the lookout for a robber who is using a knife in his robberies.
The man has hit at least six businesses in recent days or weeks and he frequently wears red clothes.
The man reportedly goes to cashiers, puts a knife to their throat and demands money.
"He's coming in and going directly behind the counter and putting a knife to their throat or back demanding money, if they don't move quick enough he's string them with their hands," said Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson.
Two of the robbery cases last week were at 2560 and 2720 South Colorado Boulevard.
The suspect was described as being a black male, 5-foot-11, weighing 270 to 300 pounds and in his early 20s.
He reportedly wears a red hooded sweatshirt, red gloves, a red bandanna, black jeans and white shoes with red laces.
