Police Investigate After Body Found In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- Police are combing an area for evidence near a park in Aurora following the discovery of a body.

Aurora police spokesman Detective Robert Friel said officials consider the death suspicious. Police have not released any details about the victim or any possible cause of death.

The body was reported late Thursday. Officers guarded the crime scene overnight and detectives returned Friday at daylight to continue their investigation.

Denver police spokesman Matt Murray said the discovery isn't linked to the disappearance of a 19-year-old woman. Kenia Monge of Aurora disappeared last week after going to a Denver nightclub.
