Peyton Manning Visits Afghanistan To Thank The Troops
DENVER (CBS4) - Peyton Manning is spending some of his offseason saying "thank you" to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.
On Friday Manning was in Afghanistan as part of his USO Tour. The Broncos quarterback is all about preparation and dedication. That's what he said he saw this week from the troops.
"To witness the teamwork, the communication, discipline that all of you folks display; flying under that ship yesterday, watching the communication between the folks on the ship and the pilots and seeing how the communication goes," Manning told the troops. "If any of my offensive linemen jump off-sides again they out to be shot."
The troops got a good laugh at Manning's speech.
