Normandy Elementary Celebrates School Improvements With Rededication Ceremony

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - Normandy Elementary School in Littleton held a rededication ceremony Monday morning as the school community celebrated many changes made over the spring and the summer.

The changes include a remodeled library, better heating and air conditioning, and a new irrigation system for the school's vegetable garden.

"We've had a lot of school improvements, whether it's new paint, new carpet, all new desks, all new swings that were very generously donated via our PTO committee." Accountability Committee Chairman Arist Athanasopoulos said.

The playground improvements were a combined effort of the school's PTO and the Jefferson County School District.
