Noble Energy: Spilled Oil Won't Wind Up In Poudre River

WINDSOR, Colo. (CBS4) - Crews are still working to clean up an oil spill near the Poudre River.

State officials say 173 barrels of crude oil saturated the soil, vegetation and some standing water not connected to the river.

Noble Energy used an excavator, vacuum truck and absorbent pads to clean up the oil, and say there's no threat of the oil ending up in the river.

They have sent soil samples to a lab and are still waiting on results.
