Nike Wants 36,000 Championship T-Shirts In Colorado Stores By Monday

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Before the Broncos game was even officially over the presses were turned on, warmed up and cranking out championship t-shirts.

Nike wants 36,000 of the shirts in Colorado stores by Monday. The US Recognition plant in Lakewood can produce about 1,500 per hour.

When they say they are "hot off the presses," they literally are warm to the touch. The workers fold them, put on the official NFL sticker and load them in boxes to head out to Colorado stores.

Boxes and boxes have already gone out and they planned to be working all night long to get it cranked and printed for all fans across Colorado who want a shirt.

Some businesses stayed open late on Sunday so fans could get a chance to get a shirt proving that the Broncos win is good for the economy.
