New Reservoir Takes Shape In Lone Tree
LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4) - Denver Water's new reservoir is taking shape this week.
The agency is building a new 10 million gallon reservoir for treated water near Timberline and Quebec in Lone Tree.
On Monday 130 trucks poured concrete to build the reservoir floor.
The reservoir has a circular shape with the surface area that comes out to about the same size as a football field.
It will play a key role in supplying water to Denver Water customers in the southern part of the Denver metro area.
