Network Issue Impacting Police Phone Lines In Colorado, 2 Other States
DENVER (CBS4)- A network issue with Qwest/Centurylink phone lines is impacting non-emergency police phones. 911 is not believed to be affected.
At about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Qwest confirmed the company was experiencing a network issue which impacted three states, including Colorado. The other two states were not released.
Callers are not able to get through on non-emergency police and other administrative phone lines.
Denver Police Department confirmed their non-emergency lines were not working.
Qwest is investigating the cause. There is no estimate on when service will be restored.
