Mountain Lion Relocated After Discovered In Backyard Tree

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4)- Homeowners called wildlife officials after a mountain lion climbed a tree in the backyard of a Grand Junction home.

The big cat had decided to take a nap in the tree on Sunday morning.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers tranquilized the mountain lion and removed the animal from the area.

The mountain lion was relocated to a remote, secluded area.
