Man Gets Life For Killing Lakewood Woman, Setting Home Of Fire
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering a woman in Lakewood and then setting her home on fire.
The judge sentenced Britt Alan Cox last week. Police say he first shot Bonni Gilbert in her home in July 2009. Later that same day they say he returned to the home and poured gas throughout the house before setting it on fire and causing an explosion.
Cox had previously robbed the home and stole an SUV from the home.
