Longmont Arson Suspect Arrested
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Longmont have arrested a man they believe is responsible for starting several fires in recent weeks. Conrad Nilsson was arrested on Tuesday.
Police said Nilsson was carrying a what they describe as a fire starting kit when he was arrested, which had everything necessary to start fires when they found him lurking in an alley off Corey Street in Longmont.
Nilsson may be linked to six alley fires since mid-June.
Police said they have surveillance video and other evidence. Nilsson faces several charges, including arson.
