Lawsuit Filed Against Edible Manufacturer Over Denver Murder
DENVER (CBS4) - The young sons of a mother shot to death in Denver's Observatory Park neighborhood are suing a marijuana edible manufacturer.
The lawsuit claims the company recklessly sold the pot candy to Richard Kirk. Kirk bought the candy an hour before the deadly shooting of his wife Kristine in April 2014.
The lawsuit is filed on behalf of the children of the couple, who are ages nine, 13 and 15.
