Lafayette Police Search For Missing Man

LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lafayette hope someone has seen Anton Gauckler, a man who is visiting from Germany and may be confused.

Gauckler is 78 years old. He is described as 5-foot-8, 155 pounds with white hair and a beard. He also wears glasses.

He is wearing light green long pants and a light green button down shirt with a white undershirt.

Gauckler is visiting family from Germany. He speaks with a German accent and may be confused in his surroundings.

Gauckler was last seen in the area of Glenwood Drive and Lucerne Way at 1 p.m. Thursday.

His family searched for him for two hours before they called police.
