JeffCo Sheriff Needs Help Finding Theft Suspect
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A car break in victim was also the victim of theft and now the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office needs help finding the suspect.
A vehicle parked at the Stegosaurus parking lot located at 1104 County Highway 93 in Golden was broken into on Sunday.
The vehicle's owner was riding her bicycle during the theft.
Her white Coach purse, including credit cards, were stolen from inside the vehicle.
The credit cards were then used to make several electronic purchases totaling nearly $2,000 at two Best Buy stores and a Sears store all located in Lakewood.
The female suspect was captured on surveillance cameras at the stores. In one of the pictures she is using the stolen purse.
The suspect is also believed to be associated with a red, 4-door Honda Accord.
