Improvement Work Begins In Confluence Park
DENVER (CBS4) - Workers are braving the chilly waters of the Platte River and Cherry Creek this week in LoDo's Confluence Park.
They are making big improvements to the Park's west side, known as Shoemaker Plaza. The city wants to make it more accessible to cyclists and other park visitors.
Workers recently took out the decades-old existing trails and cantilevered ramps that don't meet current standards.
The project will take more than a year, wrapping up next August.
