High Winds, Blowing Snow Lead To Short Closure Of Highway 93 South Of Boulder
(CBS4) - Strong wind gusts near the base of the Colorado foothills and blowing snow led to a highway closure. Highway 93 was closed for about an hour in the middle of the day on Friday between Marshall Road and Highway 128.
That's just south of the Boulder city limits.
The CBS4 Weather Team strongly recommended caution if driving on roads and highways on the west side of the Denver metro area on Friday, including Highway 93, C-470, US 36 as well as Highway 285 through South Park.
