Half Pipe Training For The Olympics Held At Copper Mountain
COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4) - Athletes were training for a new Olympic sport at Copper Mountain over the weekend -- it's the skiing half pipe.
Earlier this year the International Olympic Committee approved the event to be featured at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
Half pipe athletes have been training at Copper's 22-foot pipe. The same pipe was used at this weekend's Sprint U.S. Grand Prix.
