Greeley Firefighter Pleads Guilty In Exam Cheating Case
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Greeley firefighter who was charged in an exam cheating case has pleaded guilty to official misconduct.
Roger Moore pleaded guilty Thursday in Weld County Court to one count of second-degree official misconduct which is a class one petty offense.
Moore was the proctor for a state firefighter certification exam in April 2011 when he distributed copies of a previous test for his students to study from in violation of state testing policies.
Moore was a firefighter for the Greeley Fire Department at the time.
As a result of his guilty plea, Moore was ordered to spend 12 months on probation, provide 80 hours of community service and pay $184.50 in court costs.
