4-Month-Old Great Horned Owl Relocated Out Of Industrial Area To Rehab Center
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- High winds blew a 4-month-old great horned owl out of his nest in Colorado Springs on Monday. Now he's headed to the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center in Pueblo.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers decided to move him from his nesting spot because it was located in an industrial area. Now he'll stay in the rehab center until he can fly and hunt on his own.
