Girl Hit By Train In Loveland Expected To Recover

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - A teenage girl is expected to survive after she was struck by a train in Loveland on Wednesday.

Police say the accident happened at about 3 p.m. on the 3500 block of Butternut, and that when officers arrived paramedics were already treating the girl.

The girl was taken to McKee Medical Center.

Police told the Loveland Reporter-Herald the girl was walking along the tracks with two friends.

So far it's not clear how she was hit.

Police said drugs and alcohol weren't a factor in the incident.
