Gas Leak Forces Hundreds To Evacuate Hotels In Vail
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - A natural gas leak forced the evacuations of three hotels in Vail Wednesday afternoon.
Hundreds of guests at the Vail Spa Hotel, the Marriott and the Ritz Carlton were evacuated.
All utilities have been shut off to the hotels in the immediate vicinity of West Lionshead Circle. It may take crew four hours to fix the leak.
The Salvation Army was providing food.
Nearby Interstate 70 remains open.
